Zheng Qinwen defeated American player Ashlyn Krueger in straight sets, 6-2, 7-6(3), in the fourth round of the WTA 1000 Miami Open, advancing to the quarterfinals for the first time in her career and setting a new personal best at the tournament. She will face Aryna Sabalenka in the next round.
