Slutsky replied: “This issue was actually brought up frequently when I first took charge of Shenhua. Back then, many people asked me how I would ensure sufficient playing time for national team players at Shenhua. At the time, our squad already included players like Gao Tianyi, who’s here at the press conference today, as well as Xie Pengfei and Dai Weijun, all of whom are part of the national team.”
