China to host the Women's AFC U-17 Asian Cup

Though China has to wait for the decision about the 2027 AFC U-20 Asian cup bid, the AFC has granted China the rights to host the three editions of the Women's AFC U-17 Asian Cup from 2026 to 2028. As per the current rules, the AFC has 4 spots for participation of the FIFA Women's U-17 World Cup.
