Qin Haiyang's remark on his Lane 8 miracle

After pulling off an unanticipated gold-medal victory from lane eight the men’s 200m breaststroke final at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships, Qin Haiyang  expressed his thoughts: “The plan never changed — I came here to win. In today’s race, I let go of everything and focused entirely on myself.”
