Beach Soccer legend as Guoan interim coach

After parting ways with Quique Setien, Beijing Guoan  officially announced that assistant coach Ramiro Amarelle has been appointed as the interim head coach of the first team. Ramiro Amarelle, a former beach soccer player, won the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup MVP award twice during his playing career and was known as the “Emperor of Beach Soccer.” In his coaching career, he has also served as the head coach of China’s national beach soccer team.
