Wang Shuang misses out on AFC annual awards

The 2025 AFC Annual Awards ceremony was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Chinese player Wang Shuang, as one of the three candidates, missed out on the Women’s Player of the Year award, which is finally awarded to Hana Takahashi from Japan. Chinese football comes away empty-handed in the event.
