Liaoning Tieren's trajectory towards CSL

Founded in 2015, Liaoning Iron Man were originally known as Shenyang Urban Construction. In 2019, they defeated Chengdu Rongcheng to win the China League Two title and earn promotion to the China League One. At the start of the 2020 season, the club was renamed Liaoning Shenyang Urban. Before the 2025 season, the club was renamed as Liaoning Tieren.
