Team China's breakthrough in Milano-Cortina

At this point, the Chinese delegation has collected five gold, four silver and six bronze medals at the Winter Olympics, surpassing its performance at the 2010 Vancouver Games (five gold, two silver and four bronze) and setting a new record for its best result at an overseas Winter Olympics. The team has also matched its total medal haul from the Beijing Winter Olympics, with 15 medals overall.
