FIBA Women's WC qualifier: China 81-68 Mali

On the opening day of Group A at the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup Qualifying Tournament, China beat Mali 81-68 to get off to a winning start. All three of China’s centers scored in double figures. Li Yueru posted 21 points and 11 rebounds. Han Xu had 14 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists, while Zhang Ziyu added 12 points and 3 rebounds. Guard Yang Shuyu contributed 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists.
