Guo Ailun Hit by Major Fraud Case

Guo Ailun and his family have reportedly fallen victim to a major fraud case involving an acquaintance, with the amount involved approaching 10 million RMB. His family has already reported the incident to the police.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the suspect is a close friend of Guo, who allegedly persuaded him to transfer nearly 10 million RMB under the pretense of an “investment partnership.” After the transfer, the suspect became unreachable, and the whereabouts of the funds remain unknown. Authorities have officially opened a case, which is still under investigation.

This season, Guo Ailun plays for the Guangzhou Loong Lions. In March, he suffered a serious injury—a torn ACL in his left knee—during a game against the Shandong team, ruling him out for the rest of the season. Now facing a fraud incident as well, it has been a case of compounded misfortune for him.
