U17 Asian Cup: China lost 0–1 to Indonesia

In the opening round of Group B at the 2026 AFC U17 Asian Cup, China’s U17 national team lost 0–1 to Indonesia’s U17 side. 

In the 87th minute, Keanu latched onto Mathew Baker’s long pass, beat the offside trap and scored the decisive goal with a close-range finish.

This defeat deals a major blow to China’s hopes of returning to the FIFA U17 World Cup for the first time in 21 years.
