Wu Yize and Zhao Xintong hit career highs

As the 2026 World Snooker Championship concluded, the world rankings shifted. Chinese player Wu Yize, who just won the championship, climbed from No. 10 to a career-high No. 4.

Another Chinese player, Zhao Xintong, who has also performed strongly this season, sits at No. 3 — likewise a career best. 

Judd Trump finished the season still ranked world No. 1; he has held the top spot since August 2024.
