China clinch second win at Future Stars Cup

In the second round of the group stage at the 2026 Shanghai Future Stars Cup, Athletic Bilbao U17 faced off against China U17. In the 13th minute, Cheng Shenghan scored with a header. In the end, China U17 defeated Athletic Bilbao U17 1–0, securing their second consecutive win.

In the first round, Zhao Songyuan was involved in two goals, and substitute Cheng Shenghan scored a stoppage-time winner. China U17 edged Arsenal U17 3–2 with a dramatic finish. For this match, China U17 made changes to their starting lineup.

In the 13th minute, Xu Zhengpeng took a corner and delivered an excellent cross. Cheng Shenghan headed the ball into the net inside the box, giving China U17 a 1–0 lead over Athletic Bilbao U17.

Switching sides, in the 62nd minute, Zhao Songyuan, who had just come on as a substitute, headed the ball onto the crossbar. Four minutes later, Zhao attempted a long-range shot, which went over the bar. In the end, China U17 beat Athletic Bilbao U17 1–0 and claimed their second consecutive victory.
