
China Smash 2026 continued on October 10. In the women’s doubles final, China’s Wang Manyu and Kuai Man defeated Japan’s Miwa Harimoto and Hina Hayata 3-1(13-11, 11-2, 9-11, 11-7) to claim the women’s doubles title.

In the opening game, Harimoto and Hayata took an early 5-1 lead. The Chinese pair then rallied to win nine consecutive points, turning the score around and taking a 10-5 lead to earn game point. The Japanese pair subsequently saved several game points, scored six consecutive points and regained the lead. However, Wang and Kuai regained their composure and eventually took the game 13-11.
In the second game, the Chinese pair continued to build momentum, opening up a 5-2 lead before cruising to an 11-2 victory to take a 2-0 lead in the match. However, Wang Manyu accidentally fell during the game, causing a moment of concern.
In the third game, the Chinese pair again made a strong start, leading 7-3 at one point. But the Japanese pair fought back, reaching game point first at 10-8 before eventually winning the game 11-9 to get back into the match.
The fourth game was closely contested from the outset, with neither side able to establish a clear advantage. After the score reached 6-6, the Chinese pair seized their opportunity to earn the first match point and eventually won the game 11-7. They secured a 3-1 victory to claim the women’s doubles title.
