On the evening of November 3, Olympic champion Sheng Lihao won gold in the men's 10m air rifle final at the 2026 ISSF World Championships in Doha with a score of 254.1 points. With this victory, he has now completed a "super career Grand Slam", winning men's 10m air rifle gold medals at all major competitions, including the Olympic Games, World Championships, ISSF World Cup Final, Asian Games, Asian Championships, National Games of China and Chinese National Championships. He has thus become the first men's rifle shooter in the 21st century to achieve this feat.

At this year's championships, the 22-year-old Sheng claimed the men's 10m air rifle world title with 254.1 points, also securing China a quota place for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games in the event.
Meanwhile, the Chinese team of Sheng Lihao, Ma Sihan and Zhang Changhong scored a combined 1,901.6 points in the men's 10m air rifle team event, breaking the previous world record of 1,899.0 points set by the same trio at the Nagoya Asian Games. The performance earned China the men's 10m air rifle team gold medal at this year's World Championships.
