4 teams promoted from CL1 to CSL in 2021

4 teams (Wuhan Three Towns, Meizhou Hakka, Zhejiang Pro, Chengdu Rongcheng) win promotion from CL1 to CSL in the 2021 season - for the 1st time 4 teams win promotion to the top-flight since 1997. Next season CSL will have 18 teams (rather than 16 from 2008 to 2021)
