Guangzhou City, the team rock bottom having lost all 8 matches, gained the 1st three points of the season. In Dalian's 2:0 victory over Guangzhou City in the 2nd round, Dalian breached the U-23 rule. Guangzhou City was therefore awarded a 3-0 win while Dalian was docked 3 pts.
