Guangzhou City sacks Jean-Paul van Gastel

Guangzhou City have parted ways with Jean-Paul van Gastel, their head coach since 2021. In the first phase Guangzhou City lost all 10 games, though they were awarded 3 points due to Dalian's rule-breaking mistake. Zhao Junzhe, the sporting director, is now a caretaker.
