Despite being edged out in three sets (4-6, 6-3, 4-6) by Alison Riske in the U.S Open women's singles 3rd round. Wang Xiyu still made the best record in the grand slam. In the tournament 4 Chinese female players advance to the 3rd round: the best collective performance for China.
