The result of the 2022 Cantonese Player of the Year voting was announced on Saturday: . Lin Liangming, the Dalian midfielder who grew up in Guangzhou and is a product of the Guangzhou FA youth training system, won the male category. Chen Qiaozhu wins the female category.
