In the EAFF U15 Men's Football Championship final, China's U-15 defeated Japan's U-15 in a penalty shootout, with their goalie, Zhang Zongxi, saving 2 penalties. This marks the 1st time a Chinese men's team from any age group has defeated their Japanese counterpart since 2017.
