AFC wish China to qualify for the World Cup

Despite the AFC Asian Cup bid, Datuk Seri Windsor John also told Chinese journalists that the AFC expects Chinese football to take the opportunity brought by the FIFA World Cup enlargement, which has assigned AFC 8.5 slots in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
