Guangdong Player of the Year 2024 nominees

The Guangdong Football Association has announced the list of nominees for the 2024 Guangdong Footballer of the Year and Footballer of the Year (Female) awards. The nominees for Footballer of the Year are Hou Yu, Huang Zhengyu, Liang Xueming, Lin Liangming, and Xie Wenneng. The nominees for Footballer of the Year (Female) are Chen Qiaozhu, Li Qingtong, Luo Guiping, Yuan Cong, and Zhang Zimei. Xie Wenneng and Lin Liangming made decent performance in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers vs Japan.
