On Thursday, the 2024 Chinese Player of the Year award presentation ceremony was held at the Xiaoshan Sports Center Arena in Hangzhou. In the presence of guests such as the current head coach of the Chinese national team, Ivanković, Wu Lei won the Chinese Player of the Year for the fifth time.
