China did not bid for the 2031 AFC Asian Cup

February 28 was the deadline set by the AFC for the first phase of bidding for the 2031 AFC Asian Cup. As of now the AFC has received 8 bids, including the ones from South Korea and Australia. China, the host of the 2025 AFC U-20 Asian cup, which drew conclusion on Saturday night, did not submit bid.
