The CFA lost the AFC U-17 Asian Cup bid

The AFC Competition Committee held its fourth meeting of the current cycle in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and decided that Saudi Arabia will host the AFC U-17 Asian Cup for three consecutive editions in 2026, 2027, and 2028. Despite the CFA having shown intentions, China is not selected to host.
