Bu Yunchaokete: China male tennis new idol

Thanks to the valuable 90 points earned from reaching his first clay-court final, Bu Yunchaokete has climbed back into the world’s top 70 and overtaken Zhang Zhizhen and Shang Juncheng to become China’s new No. 1 male tennis player. With both Zhang Zhizhen and Shang Juncheng withdrawing due to injuries, Bu Yunchaokete will be the only Chinese male player to gain direct entry into this year’s French Open main draw.
