Qiu Yike, Sun Yingsha’s coach, posted a lengthy message on Sina Weibo in response to online abuse and rumors. “I welcome and am willing to accept any reasonable and well-intentioned criticism or advice,” he wrote. “But purely emotional, insulting attacks and the spreading of unfounded rumors are something no one can reasonably be expected to tolerate.”
