About his choice of accepting Boston University's offer, Simon Wang told Titan Sports: "My brother is in Boston, and I really liked the city when I went to visit him. Plus, there are so many universities there—the games are close by and the atmosphere is great. Boston University has produced a lot of NHL talent, and the Sharks’ general manager is also a BU graduate. He has a high opinion of the school."
