ZhaoXintong's loss due to Ding Junhui Curse?

Kyren Wilson’s victory over Zhao Xintong means that the long-standing “Ding Junhui curse” — where anyone who beats Ding Junhui loses in the next round — continues. Since the the 2024 Players Championship, this pattern has held for 23 consecutive instances. Zhao Xintong has now become the latest victim of the curse.
