In the AFC Champions League Elite 1 play-off, Chengdu Rongcheng hosted Bangkok United. After a goalless first half, Yang Mingyang broke the deadlock in the second half, and Felipe scored twice. Rongcheng went on to beat Bangkok United 3-0 and advance to the ACL Elite 1 group stage.
