SunYang in men's freestyle relay for Zhejiang

The 33-year-old Olympic gold medalist Sun Yang swam the opening leg for Team Zhejiang in the men’s 4×100m freestyle relay heats, clocking 49.68 seconds. His effort helped the team finish second overall in 3:18.78 to qualify for the final. After the race, Sun admitted: “I’m persevering as preparation for the National Games. I want to thank all those who support me.”
