Chinese clubs make worst ACL 1st round record

Chengdu Rongcheng, Shanghai Shenhua, Shanghai Port - all three CSL teams lost in their openers in the ACL Elite. Except for the outliers in 2021 and 2022, this marks the worst start for Chinese clubs in the more than 20 years since the AFC Champions League was established in the 2002–03 season.
