Though Shanghai Port stand rock bottom in the ACL Elite, the team still believe they have a good chance to secure top 8 among 12 teams to advance to the knockout stage. The home match in three weeks against FC Seoul, which is ranked 8th,  is seen as a death-or-alive match.
