Jia Yifan's review of the National Games

“At the last National Games, (Chen) Qingchen and I felt much more pressure going for the title. This time, apart from Dongping-jie (Huang Dongping), all my opponents were younger than me. But I kept telling myself that I’m definitely stronger than they are, that I can outlast anyone. I’m hard to beat. I was calmer and more confident than at the previous Games. I’ve now won medals of every colour at the National Games in my career, and that makes me truly honoured and happy,” said Jia Yifan after claiming the bronze medal.
