China eliminate Uzbekistan in U-23 Asian Cup

In the quarter-finals of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup, China’s U-23 national team faced Uzbekistan U-23. Goalkeeper Li Hao produced a series of stunning saves. After 120 minutes of regular time and extra time ended in a goalless draw, the match went to a penalty shootout. Li Hao saved one of the four shots in the shootout as China prevailed 4–2 on penalties to defeat Uzbekistan.
