Crackdown on corruption in Chinese football

China’s Ministry of Public Security, General Administration of Sport of China, and Chinese Football Association jointly held a press conference in Beijing on a special crackdown campaign targeting match-fixing, gambling, and corruption in the football industry. As part of the action, 13 teams were docked points, and 73 individuals received lifetime bans from football.
