After finishing with two runner-up finishes and missing out on a third straight sweep of the men’s and women’s singles titles at the Chongqing Champions event, the Chinese table tennis team headed to Chengdu to begin an official 40-day closed training camp. During this camp, the main squad members will compete in the Macau Table Tennis World Cup, which starts on March 30. The ultimate goal of the training block is to ensure full preparation for the World Team Championships in London, which open on April 28.
