Zhang Zhanshuo set his personal best

In the men’s 400m freestyle final at the 2026 Chinese National Swimming Championships, Zhang Zhanshuo won gold in 3:41.55, setting a new personal best and defeating world-record holder Lukas Märtens. The time ranks as the third-fastest in Chinese history in the event, behind only Sun Yang’s 3:40.14 and Zhang Lin’s 3:41.35.
