Montaigu Tournament：China U16 0–1 Brazil U16

On April 2, in the second round of the 2026 Montaigu Tournament in France, China’s U16 national team lost 0–1 to Brazil U16, suffering their second consecutive defeat. In the 29th minute, Arthur Ferreira Diniz broke into the penalty area and scored the only goal of the match for Brazil. 

In the previous round, China U16 had already lost 1–4 to hosts France U16. On April 4 at 00:00 (Beijing time), China will face Ivory Coast U16 in their next match.
