Tour Championship: Zhao Thrashes Wakelin 10–4

On April 2, in the second session of the quarterfinals at the 2026 Snooker Tour Championship, Chinese player Zhao Xintong was in outstanding form. After taking a 5–3 lead at the end of the first session the previous day, he went on to secure a dominant 10–4 victory over England’s Chris Wakelin, advancing strongly into the semifinals and keeping alive the Chinese contingent’s hopes of winning the title.

In the semifinals, Zhao will face defending champion John Higgins, who defeated Mark Selby 10–8.
