CSL：Guoan 1-2 Rongcheng

In Round 5 of the Chinese Football Super League, Beijing Guoan hosted Chengdu Rongcheng at home. In the first half, Wang Ziming squandered a golden chance, missing an open goal. After the break, Cao Yongjing provided the assist and Zhang Yuning scored; Wei Shihao was directly involved in two goals and struck the late winner. Guoan fell 1–2 to Rongcheng, extending their winless run to four matches.

For this match, Guoan welcomed back Hou Sen and Wang Gang from injury, while Rongcheng had Felipe on the bench. In the 3rd minute, Wellington Silva got to the byline and delivered a cross, but Wang Ziming completely missed his close-range finish, wasting an open goal. In the 7th minute, Guoan attacked again, with Wang Gang firing a tight-angle shot into the side netting.

In the 26th minute, Rongcheng swung in a cross and Wei Shihao’s headed attempt went over. In the 41st minute, Fabio went down injured without contact and received treatment. At half-time, Guoan were level at 0–0 with Rongcheng.

After the restart, both teams made substitutions. Guoan brought on Zhang Yuning for Fabio, while Rongcheng replaced Wang Ziming with Felipe.

In the 56th minute, Felipe headed the ball into the net, but the goal was ruled out for offside. In the 63rd minute, Bai Yang played the ball out, Li Lei switched play from the left, and Cao Yongjing sent in a cross that Zhang Yuning nodded home from close range to put Guoan 1–0 up.

In the 84th minute, Rongcheng won a corner. Wei Shihao’s shot deflected off Liao Lisheng’s hand and looped into the net for the equalizer.

In stoppage time (90+4), Silva delivered another cross and Wei Shihao calmly tapped in from in front of goal to complete the turnaround. In the end, Guoan lost 1–2 to Rongcheng and are now winless in four straight matches.
