On April 17, in the SSP class Superpole qualifying of the Dutch round of the FIM Supersport World Championship, Valentin Debise, the No.53 rider of Chinese motorcycle manufacturer ZXMOTO, finished second with a time of 1:36.561. He was only 0.071 seconds behind Lucas Mahias from GMT94 Yamaha, who claimed pole position with a lap time of 1:36.490.

After adjustments in the pit garage, he charged forward from 19th to 3rd, and further moved up to 2nd from 4th in the final phase. Though he failed to take pole, his performance was still highly impressive. Another rider of ZXMOTO, Federico Caricasulo, finished 20th.
The first full race of the Dutch round will take place on April 18, with the second race scheduled for April 19. Valentin Debise will be aiming to clinch his third race victory of the season for ZXMOTO.
