On May 1, Beijing time, at the 2026 World Aquatics Diving World Cup Finals held at the "Water Cube" in Beijing, Chinese duo Chen Yiwen/Chen Jia lived up to expectations in the women's synchronized 3m springboard final. They finished first in all five dives and secured the gold medal with a total score of 331.05 points — China's second gold of the competition.

After Wang Zongyuan/Zheng Jiuyuan claimed the first gold, Chen Yiwen/Chen Jia stepped onto the stage for the women's synchro 3m event. The final consisted of five rounds, including both required and optional dives. On their opening dive — 201B (back dive, pike) — they earned 51.60 points, firmly taking first place and setting a solid foundation for the rest of the contest. Over the next four dives, they remained at the top throughout, eventually finishing as champions with 331.05 points.
The women's synchronized 3m springboard has long been a stronghold for Chinese diving. At the Paris Olympics, Chang Yani and Chen Yiwen won gold together in this event. Now, Chen Yiwen and Chen Jia continue to uphold China's dominance and glory, once again showcasing the excellence of the "Dream Team."
