On May 8, the official website of the World Snooker Tour (WST) announced that Chinese players Wang Xinbo and Luo Zetao have secured two-year professional tour cards and will compete on the professional circuit next season.

According to the WST: "Wang Xinbo and Luo Zetao, who finished first and second respectively in the Chinese Billiards & Snooker Association's national rankings, have earned two-year World Snooker Tour cards. Both will make their debut on the professional tour and have qualified for the 2026–27 and 2027–28 seasons."
Wang Xinbo, 18, was runner-up in both the WSF Championship and WSF Junior Championship this year. Last season, he competed in several professional events as a wildcard—most notably, he defeated Mann and Boiko at the World Championship qualifiers before losing to Bingham. Luo Zetao, 25, reached the final round of Asia Q School last year, where he narrowly lost 3–4 to Liu Wenwei.
