China sealed a spot at the 2026 U17 World Cup after beating Qatar 2–0 in their final Group B match at the U17 Asian Cup. Zhang Bolin, who scored the second goal to kill off the game, said the qualification journey had “many twists and turns” but the team kept a strong mentality throughout.
