China U17 women fall 2–4 to North Korea

On 14 May, China were beaten 4–2 by North Korea in the semi-finals of the 2026 AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup. North Korea scored twice early on, before China pulled one back. Liu Yuxi equalised after the break, but Yu Jeong-hyang completed her hat-trick to seal the win.

China exited in the last four, while North Korea advance to the final to face Japan.
