
The China Volleyball Association has officially announced the roster for the Chinese women’s national volleyball team for the Ankara leg of the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Nations League in Turkey. Gong Xiangyu continues to serve as captain, with Wang Yuanyuan, Diao Linyu, and others included, along with Zhuang Yushan and Wang Aoqian. Compared to the Nanjing leg in China, the roster has been reduced from 18 to 16 players, with Jin Jiabao and Zhu Xingchen not making the list.

China Roster for the Ankara Leg:
Outside hitters: Zhuang Yushan, Li Chenxuan, Dong Yuhan
Middle blockers: Wang Yuanyuan, Chen Houyu, Wang Aoqian, Guo Zhongnan
Opposite hitters: Gong Xiangyu (captain), Tang Xin, Yang Shuming, Zhou Yetong
Setters: Zhang Zixuan, Diao Linyu, Xie Shengyu
Liberos: Ni Feifan, Wang Mengjie
In the previous week’s Nanjing leg of the 2026 Volleyball Nations League, China lost its opening match 0-3 to the Czech Republic, then achieved consecutive wins: 3-2 over Thailand, 3-0 over Serbia, and 3-1 over Poland, finishing with three wins and one loss.
According to the schedule, the second week of matches in Ankara, Turkey, will be held from June 17 to June 22, Beijing time. Over six days, the Chinese team will play four matches, as follows:
June 17, 17:30: China vs. Germany
June 19, 21:00: China vs. France
June 20, 21:00: China vs. Brazil
June 22, 00:30: China vs. Turkey
