China U17 Volleyball Team misses final

In the semifinals of the U17 Women's Volleyball World Championship, China lost 0-3 to the USA and missed out on the final.

As the defending champions, the China U17 women's volleyball team advanced from the group stage with five consecutive straight-set victories. In the round of 16, China defeated the Dominican Republic 3-1 to advance to the quarterfinals. In the quarterfinal match against Croatia, China was caught up after winning the first two sets, as their opponents leveled the score by winning the next two sets. However, China clinched victory in the deciding set to advance to the semifinals in thrilling fashion.

Facing the USA team, who had won all seven of their previous matches without dropping a set, China was at a disadvantage throughout the match and ultimately lost 13-25, 15-25, 19-25, failing to reach the final.
