Chinese Super League striker Behram Abduweli (Chengdu Rongcheng) recently opened up about his earnings — without revealing the exact figures.
Asked about a motorcycle reportedly worth more than a car, the 23-year-old said: “Let’s just say it’s enough for me and my family. I can’t give the exact number, but it’s decent. I also donate to charity.”

He also dismissed the old “money football” era, saying: “More and more young stars are emerging. People used to say there was no future in football — but now I believe if you work hard and make the most of your talent, there is a way forward.”
Born in 2003 in Ili, Xinjiang, Abduweli plays as a striker or winger. He came through Inner Mongolia Shengle Mengyang before joining Shandong Taishan’s U19 setup in 2021. After loan spells at Jinan Xingzhou and Sichuan Jiuniu, where he won China League Two and League One titles, he joined Shenzhen Peng City in 2024 and later Chengdu Rongcheng.
This season he has made 26 appearances in all competitions, including 24 in the CSL, scoring 4 goals.
At international level, Abduweli has represented both China’s senior team and U23 side. In 2026, he helped China U23 finish runners-up at the AFC U23 Asian Cup and win bronze at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games — China’s first Asian Games men’s football medal in 28 years.
